She's passed the word quietly, asked others to do the same. Been as careful as possible not to let the word spread any further. With no other good options presenting themselves, she's asked Lieutenant Tayrey to host the meeting in her cabin.

It's been just over a month since they last met on the subject. Time and past to reconvene.

[There's faint surprise in Ari's eyes as she turns towards him.]

Negotiations take time. It's difficult for any group to reach consensus, let alone a diverse one like this. [A traumatised one. An- Ari has to focus on what's happening before her.] I think there's value in the effort.

[She assumes that I'll keep my information to myself is as much a tactic for Natsuno as it is for her.]

Better honest disagreement than false accord. [She could lie. Tell Natsuno she'd changed her mind. Except Ari's not that sort of person.] But if you're set on leaving, all I'll say is thank you for joining us, and for listening. We have shared objectives, even if we differ on the methods.

None of this is a negotiation. We are all grasping at incomplete lines of thought, making guesses with no good grounding for any of it. The truth is, there is still too little we know about our circumstances here. What plan could we possibly create now?

[He hasn't left yet, but he is letting his frustration show. It is part of an act, but it's not a very difficult one since that feeling is genuine.]

"Don't lose hope. If this group seems disorganized, it's because we hardly are a group. We've met twice, and I wager none of us have spoken to more than a handful of the others outside that. Finding these points of division is the purpose of this meeting. Now we better understand each other's position."

Dimitri sits back, his arms lightly crossed. "I do agree we've gotten too far into hypotheticals. As you say -- we can't develop a plan with the knowledge we have now. We should focus on what we do know, and on filling the gaps of what we don't."

[He makes a show of dropping his shoulders and easing off the tension.]

All right. Let's discuss what we do know, and leave the theorizing for a later date. That would be best.

I've been making an effort to document what we've learned thus far -- with attention to source and corroborating evidence, since that was the greatest issue with the previous collection. I've done my best from my own memory, but I'm sure there are points I've forgotten or overlooked.
