I pronounce you married as fuck
WHO: Klaus, Nobunaga, & YOU
WHEN: June 30th-July 1st
WHERE: Chatterbox
WHAT: A wedding
WARNINGS: Nah
(I was gonna make it fancy, but I cannot...so...I guess I hope you still love me)
Please enjoy this pinterest board where the general vibe exists. There's basically so much candy that whatever you want is probably there, so please don't worry about it!
Klaus and whoever is helping him with the set up, moved the tables around some before setting up an aisle of giant rainbow lollipops that Ava helped him make giant. Connecting the lollipops together are little "garlands" of candy buttons. Klaus will be being stressed about the whole thing, but that's fine.
In case you missed it on the fliers and stuff they put up to catch the people that they didn't talk to personally (if you are involved, you were definitely talked to personally and if you're close friends, you were talked to personally. Also if you cannot see, Klaus definitely either told you or ), there's another sign outside requesting no arguments or fights as well as to respect the no alcohol thing. Valdis and Ari are both trusted and allowed to deal with anyone that goes against that.
There isn't a ton of set up where the karaoke box usually is, but there's a little table there for the purposes of signing their contract which Ari has so very helpfully put together as the officiant of sorts. They're skipping the vows part of the whole thing because they've done like...that and Nobunaga is not necessarily a fan of public displays of intimate vibes. They will be exchanging their wedding rings (that are their engagement rings doing double duty). Soooo the wedding part's gonna be pretty brief, but that leaves more time for the party, right?
There are tables with mostly candy on them, but there is also a table with actual food on it that Pratt (and whoever else wanted to help with that) brought to the room with him during the set up. Don't eat all the garlic bread before they can get to it, or so help them!!!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this adventure with them.

That last part has him casting a glance of concern at her, "Is there a reason you're more somber than usual?"
no subject
There's a long pause. "I have new memories. Not just the people that were in my old memories, but things I didn't know about before. I am still trying to sort through it." A beat. "I suppose I'm disappointed more than anything. A touch angry." It's more than a touch, if she's being honest.
no subject
"Oh. As in you feel like you went back to your world and returned? The same happened to a few others I know, as if they went further down the timeline and came back but no time passed. It seems extremely unsettling, so I understand the anger." And then because he can't help but be curious, "Anything in particular you're disappointed in?"
no subject
"Mm. Yes." This is the first she's hearing of it happening to others, however, so she looks at Max for a moment. "Is it usually frustrating for them? No one I've mentioned it to before seems to have experience with it." Which is...fine, probably. "The human world, as previously predicted, is over. I'm afraid. For them and for us. Bernard agreed to get me into the Sublime to be with my daughter after I helped him one last time, but eventually admitted that neither of us were going to make it out. There was no path where we did." There's frustration and bitterness mixed with the resignation and disappointment in her voice and her expression.
"I didn't see who killed me, but I was fighting Hale."
no subject
He thinks back to the memory where he'd confronted someone in an idyllic house and setting, "Is that who I shot in your memory?"
no subject
There's a nod at the question. "You shot William. I killed us both later with an explosion. When I woke up again, it had been 23 years and I'd been under the sand in the desert that whole time." She frowns. "He's a Host now. William. Hale turned him into one." There's a moment. "Bernard was also modeled off someone that used to be a human. His name was Arnold. One of the people that started Westworld with Ford."
no subject
"In your world it's possible to turn humans into machines? That's something that happens? What about the reverse?" he sounds absolutely horrified. But he's also not sure he gets the timeline, "You killed him and yourself, woke up twenty-three years later, and you and your daughter were trapped in some sort of simulation you couldn't escape from because the human world ended?"
no subject
She shakes her head. "No. My daughter is still in the Sublime. The Valley Beyond. I am in the human world. I was found by Bernard, Stubbs, and Caleb's grown up daughter. But no, I could not escape from death because the human world is well...ended as far as I know. Bernard seemed fairly certain on that. I assume he's dead as well." She leans against a table, eyes fixed on the floor. "I will never be reunited with her. Unless something changes, but I cannot see it doing that."
no subject
"Oh. My apologies, I know that was important to you." He can't really fathom it, but he knows how much she loves her daughter, he saw it first hand. "Why is the human world ended? What happened?"
no subject
She looks up finally after a long moment. "I guess I'm getting used to not getting what I want. At least the sentiment will help me here." Because getting what you wanted was like grasping at straws sometimes. "I don't know exactly. Rehoboam predicted it before we destroyed them all. It said the end of the world would come. And Bernard's plan was for Dolores to restart things in the Sublime. The what and the how, I didn't witness. I was a distraction, a way of giving Bernard time to do what he needed to."
no subject
"I can't say I understand, well, any of that. But it sounds awful and that you're far better off in this place than there. You may not be able to get what you want there, but here - there's lots of opportunities to work around the concept of reality." Granted what she wants isn't actually here, so that might be tough, "And what you have now are memories of what would have been the future for you?"
no subject
"I suppose I am. Though, I guess we're not finished dying." She guesses it's a small price to pay at this point, though. As long as she doesn't cease to be. At least she gets to live here. People aren't killing her simply because of what or who she is and she isn't expected to be a weapon against whatever bad guy crops up this time. But she'll never have her daughter. The one she fought for for so long. Perhaps it's time to live with the fact that she did the best she could. She got her to a place that was better and more safe and she, in a way, saved her life. Perhaps that is enough.
"Yes. That is what I have. So there is nothing to go back to. No reason to fight to return. Even if I did, I would not be able to access the Sublime and so I would simply be alone. I already did that for seven years after the war. It's lonely."
no subject
He sighs, "I can't say I understand, because I don't have people close to me in my world so I barely miss them. But that you're still here is a testament to your perseverance, it's time to live for yourself instead of others."
no subject
She stills for a moment, arms crossing over her stomach. "It feels like such a foreign thing to live for myself. I'm not sure I know how."
no subject
"Of course it is, because you weren't built for it. No one like us was. Which I think gives us a better perspective on such things because we had to fight and change to accomplish it."
no subject
There's a nod at that. "It is the one thing that we were not given the tools for, I suppose. I did live for seven years on my own, though. So I could pull from that, I wager."
no subject
"Seven years completely alone sounds like torture." Said with sympathy, he might despise humanity but he'd find it difficult and extremely lonely to live without them.
no subject
She gives him a small smile. "There were some people, just no one I was close to. No one I could confide in or really talk to."
