The teenager that said once he wasn't much of a party person has somehow turned up to make the scene but he might be there in a more hero like capacity just in case something goes wrong. He's in a typical graphic tee and long sleeved plaid shirt he's left unbuttoned and leaning against the wall with his hands shoved in his pockets.

"Do you mean loud? Yeah, usually."

"Good heavens. Why?" Watson shakes his head. "There's no opportunity to talk. The music is so loud you can scarcely enjoy it. I haven't any notion how one dances to this sort of music but I will assume that people do."

He laughs a little. "I sound old, and I really ought to try not to do that."

Peter sucks in a breath and then offers a shrug. "I'd recommend asking any high school kid that's not me. I don't like parties remember and... not just because it's too loud." Why is he here again? Probably something to do with responsibility on the off chance something goes horribly wrong.

"I probably couldn't help you with the Dance thing either. I mean.. my Aunt taught me a few things for Homecoming but that's but silly stuff."

"Hm." Watson considers various American traditions he's heard of, and comes up with nothing. "What is Homecoming, then? I assume any dancing done there isn't on these sorts of lines."

Yes, he's honestly curious.

"Um.. it's a school dance that happens more towards the beginning of the year rather than the end but I honestly couldn't tell you why it's a thing. I think it's like a fundraiser but they don't want you to know that so they don't tell you that." Honestly, what is the point of homecoming?

"And again, I don't know. I went to mine for like two seconds before I had to ditch Liz and chase after her dad."

Watson raises an eyebrow. "Ah, this story again. Was this before or after he threatened your life?"

He's still just a little bit upset about Peter going through all this. The boy is far too young for this nonsense. Foregoing a party is one thing, but foregoing a party to risk your life as a teenage vigilante is quite another.

"I mean.. it was like.. right after.. kinda between? It was before he dropped the building on me but after the awkward car ride. 'Cause he let Liz go on ahead and told her he was gonna give me 'the dad talk' so she went inside to find the rest of our Decathlon team and Mr Toomes pulled a gun on me and then made me thank him for not shooting me which dic-uh-jerk move?? And I mean really, what was his plan there? Shoot me in the parking lot? Not a great plan. Someone definitely would have noticed."

He's just a little nonchalant about the whole thing but in his defense he can literally dodge bullets. "But yeah, my experience with parties is... could be better."

Watson sighs. "Parker, I haven't any notion how you've managed to live this long, and I am a man who has had a very dangerous life himself."

He isn't going to remark upon that obvious self-censorship. It's almost charming, really.

"I realise that you have some... rather remarkable abilities, but even so."
