There are a variety of different races where you and Mizuki come from, right? Surely there are problems when people from different species might want or try to be together.

Or... perhaps, how vast a difference of lifespan might there be, between different races?

I'm not very good at giving advice, Venti, but I know that if it were me, the happiness I felt in the moment would be more precious to me than whatever pain came afterwards. Just saying.

That happiness, long ago, really is the most precious to me than anything else in the world. But afterwards... [ a terribly mortal thing to think, but it's only understandable. maybe it's different if a loved one is killed violently even before they had a chance to live their full life. maybe it's different if--even before he was a god, he was wind. not even biological. whether or not a wind can love... he might have loved one person in the world and everything else paled in comparison even thousands of years later. he knows what he thinks of mizuki is very much not love.
