I don't eat, I don't drink, and honestly? It's magic. I'm not entirely sure what kind, or how, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially not a reanimated one.

[oh his god, it's so bony! So authentic! Oddly smooth! He's shaking hands with a skeleton! It's quite possibly one of the coolest things he's ever done in his life. Can Ed see this? Ed needs to see this. He is also about to say the name is a bit on the nose but as Skulduggery doesn't have one it seems a bit tasteless]

[Skulduggery is hard-pressed to object to being part of a pirate crew, even if he's pretty sure it's only in name right now. Can't really be a pirate crew without... you know, a pirate ship. Or while you're trapped aboard another person's vessel. He thinks, anyway. What does he know?]

Only on ferries. And dinghies. Rowboats... a motorboat, once. But not a ship like this, and I presume, not a ship like yours. ...You have a ship, right? Not here, I mean, but... in general. [because he doesn't want to presume!]

That does seem to be the tricky part of the whole thing, doesn't it? Nobody sees any of the new arrivals before we're in our cabins, and nobody remembers how they got here. Makes it pretty hard to find our way back.
