I'm sorry about that. [Because he is. It isn't often people get to die on their own terms, and having that choice taken from you is unfair, to say the least. But this is a party! He'll try not to be too depressing.] As for me? Portal to a hell dimension. Actually, I might be dead too, now that I think about it.

[Huh, his apology sounds genuine. That get's Lucy's body language to open up a little, going from having her arms folded across her chest to having them resting at her sides. She tilts her head.]

A portal? Did you open it up yourself? [A pause before she adds:] Why do you think you might be dead? Are there others who look like you where you're from?

Nobody else back home managed to pull the look off, no. [Like being a skeleton is a fashion choice. He's not exactly concerned about it, anyway, that much is obvious.]

The portal was... a joint effort, but yes, it was my idea to open it up. As to whether or not I'm dead, well, I've never fallen through a portal into another dimension before. I'm not sure what was supposed to happen. I certainly didn't expect the haunted ship part.

I know I didn't expect a cruise ship when I thought of the afterlife. Based on what I heard last month, though, it's definitely a hell of sorts.
