You were right, Rafaela. He seemed to really... really enjoy that I wrote him something so personal. And he hasn't even read it yet. [ Mizuki half hides his face behind the glass, stifling a couple giggles by biting his lip. There's practically little cartoon-y hearts coming off of him, it's bad. ] Thank you... for helping me. She is very endeared- no, heart-clenchingly, absolutely endeared by Mizuki's little lovesick expression, and it makes her all the more angry about her earlier conversation with Venti. Doesn't someone who spends all his time trying to keep other people happy deserve a little happiness of his own? Why did Mizuki have to fall for someone with his head up his ass? Even Dr. Warfarin wouldn't be this immature.

She doesn't tell Mizuki, though. Not when he looks like this. It's for a future conversation. ]

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, but... I think... no matter what happens, if he'll let me stay as we are... I think I can be happy with that much.

[ Admittedly, La Pluma has not officially had a girlfriend before, so Mizuki going from just flustered boyfriends to him essentially saying "I love you" doesn't seem like a huge jump to her. But, who knows. Maybe it is. She won't question it. ]
