César listens to the information intently and with interest. The question surprises him a bit. And then he thinks it over.

"You know. I've never actually been properly drunk, just tipsy. Didn't like the loss of control." His smile turns sly as he leans in a bit closer, whispering. "But with you... That doesn't sound bad at all. I'd be happy to be your lab rat."

What surprises César is that he means it. Sip.

"I'll be experimenting, too, so it won't just be me getting you drunk and taking advantage of you. It'll probably be us both drinking until we're warm and sleepy." They do sleep together well, after all. Once someone stops talking.

When he opens his eyes and looks up to Johnny, there's a familiar and gentle stillness to his entire face. César remembers their naps together. He also remembers how deeply he slept that first night with all three of them, before they realized they were three and not two, despite what had happened just before.

Just thinking about it this close to bedtime is dangerous for him.
