There is a high chance that they will be stuck there for eternity, either because of the odd rules behind Henir's Space or because they've been killed by the creatures that dwell within the void proper. —Ah, sorry, Henir is both the God of Space and Time, and the void that the rifts open up to. [Before he forgets to explain again.]

Escape from Henir's Space into one of the adjacent realms is possible, though extremely rare. Should one find a way out of the void, they will likely be corrupted into a simulacrum of their former self... well, unless they're particularly resilient, that is. That is rarer still.
