Okie had done a lot of prep work for this moment. He was wearing his suit from prom, carefully washed and ironed. He'd paid careful (too much) attention to his hair. He'd even made a faux bouquet; stitched together bundles of Build-a-Bear hearts, stuck atop chopsticks painted green with nail polish, wrapped in a dinner napkin from the diner. He's nervous all his shaking will make them come undone.

And, obviously, he prepared what to say on a note card for when Dimitri answered.

"Dimitri. I, Callen Hitchcock, come to ask you for a trade of sorts. I offer you my happiness and my love, and hope for yours in kind." Sunlight burns bright in his cheeks. "I, uh, threw in my name. As a bonus."
