Haha, I was just saying I'd want to be taller. Though an extra foot might help moving a bit faster, more push, more grip, it'd have a few advantages.

(He pulled his head back up from looking down at the theatre below. Welp, might as well get comfortable, pulling off the boots they were quickly laced together and dangled off the edge.)

(she knew that. she totally, totally, knew that's what he meant and didn't at all just embarrassed herself. ahem. as she sees him getting comfortable, jinx scoots a little to give him room to lie down on the mattress if he wants to lie next to her.)

I dunno, good for stealin'? Just another hand to chuck bombs at people. That'll be way more fun!

Seems like it would throw off your balance, and it's just another limb to get snatched.

(But could be useful for boosting if they're keeping a close eye of the first two without expecting the third. The last thing that either of them needed was for there be more bombs thrown around.)

Whaaaat makes ya think my arm is gonna be blown off? — I've been around my beloveds way too long to know exactly when they go KA-BOOM. And that's 'cuz I manually set the timer the way I wanna.

But if hypothetically they ever explode on me prematurely, I wouldn't mind it. Beats havin' some loser trying to get me.

I don't doubt they blow up anytime other than you want, I've seen up and close.

(Though the instance hopefully was a bit different than him just being some loser. Though he had possibly gone a little far in the heat of the fight, the need to come out victorious, only to nearly met a mutual end.)

Just saying it'd be another point of leverage someone could use to get an upper hand.

Uuuughhhh! — Whatever, blahblahblah. Sheesh, you're always ruining my fantasies.

(always coming in with the logical stuff and just being such a killjoy. but regardless her attitude, jinx casually shimmies closer to him and gently rest her head along his shoulder.)

Hey, y'know what's really good here? Ice cream. I tried it once and it's really tasty.

Ice cream is good and all, but the cake here is better than any of the ones that we had back home.

(Not that he'd had it more than once or twice on his special day, way back in days that were long past. It was nostalgic thought and having her nudge closer, Ekko wanted to make this moment last longer.)

There's this one called "Cookies and Cream" and it's a complete dynamite taste!

(ha, get it? bomb pun joke-ish? very casually, she shifts a bit more so she can curl up to him -- a hand on his chest with a small nuzzle to his shoulder. jinx will completely deny later of her behaving this affectionate to him but... she has a sudden urge to cuddle with her number one favorite.)

Two desserts in one. Sounds pretty mind-blowing.

(Of course, it was a bomb-based pun, only because there was no way to make it a gun-based pun. He figured she was probably just cold, after all he always ran a little hot and gave off a little extra heat.)

But then most everything with you is.

Mmm... if I wasn't feelin' like garbage, I'd do somethin' really naughty to you with a comment like that.

(she hums a little giggle as she leans up to give him a very quick kiss on the cheek before settling right back on his chest. with her eyes shut, jinx continues to nuzzle her cheek to him as she tries to rest her sore muscles.)

There's always tomorrow, it's not like I'm going anywhere. I'll be right here.

(Provided he didn't wake up and walk off the edge of the ledge. This sacred space was one of the last few secrets now that she was opening up to him again. He'd have offered to help with her boots, but at the moment it seemed he was pinned under her head.)

(she says this quietly and there's sorrow mixed in. jinx had been putting on a brave face but caitlyn's words still buzz around her mind. how she almost killed vi but killed silco. and each time she thought back on this, she can't figure out what possible reason she would even do that to either of them. what drove her to do something like that? and when vi was here with them, why didn't she mention anything?

had she been lying to her those weeks? keeping things a secret? no, she...she wouldn't do that. not again. vi wouldn't be that cruel, would she?)
