Summary: Vance has arrived and he is NOT happy about it but he's not happy about anything really so he can deal with it.
Warnings: he's very mean (and also likely to be discussing child murder because he is a child who was murdered)

( FOX ON THE RUN ) / deck

[ Vance is walking around on the deck, fists clenched and scowling at anyone who passes by. He doesn't actually talk to anyone yet because he's still used to most people not being able to see him, but he's there.

...And he's absolutely covered in dried blood that he could wash off at any time. He hasn't figured that out yet, either, so he's just. Walking around like that. ]

( PINBALL WIZARD ) / playback

[ Of course as soon as Vance finds Playback he heads straight for the pinball. On one hand, this place sucks. On the other hand, it does have pinball. And nicer machines than the one at the convenience store back home, too. Maybe it's not hell after all.

He's completely in the zone, still getting used to an unfamiliar board so he's not quite at high score tier just yet, but he's still pretty good.

And he knows when someone's lurking around nearby, despite his concentration. ]

You can watch if you want but if you throw me off I'll kick your ass. [ Said whether the nearby person was actually watching him or not. ]

( SCHOOL'S OUT ) / library

[ What a nice library. It'd be a shame if some rude boy went and sat with his shoes right on one of the tables, loudly talking to himself as he flips through a comic book.

He's just looking at the pictures, of course. What is this, school? All things considered, it's not the rudest thing he could be doing, but if there's an opportunity to be obnoxious he's going to take it. ]

( I WANNA BE SEDATED ) / outside of hurikane

[ Vance tried to get himself a drink (after half a year of being dead he deserves a good drink, he thinks) but the second he tries he gets escorted out and told to go back to Playback. He's already had plenty of fun at Playback, thank you, now he wants to have some irresponsible fun.

He stands with his hands in his pockets trying to look inconspicuous until someone who looks like they might be an adult passes by. ]

Psst. [ He leans in towards them. ] Get me a drink. I'll make it worth your while.

[ Let it be known that he has absolutely nothing to offer anyone that would make it worth their while. ]

Well, normally, when people get dirty, they take a shower or a bath to clean themselves off, instead of walking around all bloody. It's polite.

But since you don't seem to know the meaning of 'polite', I thought I'd help you out.

[She's already readying another blorble, spinning it into existence in mid-air and watching him. She wouldn't be surprised if he tried to attack her or something.]

[pinballer]

I'm not fucking dirty, I'm dead.

[ And therefore he's stuck like this forever, he assumes. Wandering the earth with all the wounds that killed him. He doesn't even notice that the blood is, in fact, starting to come off, but being reminded of his ghastly appearance still gets his blood boiling.

He doesn't usually pick fights with girls, but he'll make an exception here. He brushes a wet clump of hair away from his face and charges at Undine like a raging bull. ]

[treadwater]

Not so dead right now, though!

[She raises a swirling wall of water around herself. It's not solid or anything, but the movement's going to make landing a hit on her harder, and he'll get even more clean in the process!]

[pinballer]

[ He tries to punch through the water, but it's difficult, and he's getting soaked. Nothing worse than wet denim. ]

Agh! [ He steps back and seems to fade away a little as he goes intangible. Although the water can't hit him anymore, he also can't punch anything like this, and nearly all of the blood has been washed away anyway. ]

What the fuck! You can't just go around watering people!

[ Except apparently she can and did. ]

[treadwater]

And you shouldn't go around threatening and insulting people. So I think we're square. And you're almost clean, anyway.

[The torrent dies down, but she remains in her transformed state for now.]

You can't tell me what to do, you little pipsqueak. Put the water away and I'd kick your ass.

[ But he still stays ghostly for now. He doesn't want to get cleaned again. ]

Do you really want to try to fight me without my powers? I have trained hand-to-hand as well. Kokoro says it’s important to train physical stamina alongside the magic, to be strong in both forms. So I’m not scared of you at all.

[She’s not even really that offended to be called a pipsqueak. She’s going to hit a growth spurt any day now!]

Please, I've beaten up like five guys at once and they were all bigger than you.

[ Well. Three guys. Three teenage guys. But who's really counting. ]

[Undine peels off one of the gloves of her magical girl uniform, and tosses it at the ground at his feet.]

Fine. I challenge you to a duel at dawn, tomorrow morning, on the sports deck, to be witnessed by the pirate crew.

[pinballer]

You're on.

[ He's going to feel like the world's biggest jackass if he loses but he's arrogant enough to think there's no chance he'll lose. ]

Excellent, I'll see you then.

[She turns to walk away, so she can go text Darcy.]
