I'm not very good at giving advice, Venti, but I know that if it were me, the happiness I felt in the moment would be more precious to me than whatever pain came afterwards. Just saying.

[ a terribly mortal thing to think, but it's only understandable. maybe it's different if a loved one is killed violently even before they had a chance to live their full life. maybe it's different if--even before he was a god, he was wind. not even biological. whether or not a wind can love... he might have loved one person in the world and everything else paled in comparison even thousands of years later. he knows what he thinks of mizuki is very much not love.
