mood in my tomb red moon heavy [OPEN & CLOSED]
Who: Siffleur, Daisy, Jack Bioshock and you
What: Catch-all
Where: Quarters, Tommy Bahamas and Mikabo sushi bar
When: Early November
Warnings: Violence, gore, cannibalism, suicidal ideation, aggressive flirtations & sex
1. Home Sweet Home (cabin - closed to Daisy)
Siffleur goes back to the cabin maybe twice a week at most. It’s where the shower is, which is something he has gotten used to and enjoys. He can keep himself clean, but hot water works out the knots nicely.
Someone else moved in last week. Their scent is less than human, heavy and musky, and it’s taken a great deal of restraint from him not to ruin their things. But this isn’t his place - his place is in the Tommy Bahamas and he’s content to stay there most of the time. So far, he’s been lucky enough to enter the room when the other person isn’t in.
Today, he’s not so lucky, and as he opens the door, he’s hit with an even stronger version of her smell. He grunts to himself and steps inside, closing the door behind him as he finally gets a look at his roommate.
Siffleur pauses and tips his head to the side as he gets a good look at her human shaped form. “Hmm. Shapechanger, werewolf, something else?”
2. Life Is One Long Weekend! (Tommy Bahamas - open)
Outside the Tommy Bahamas is a large posterboard and a sign-up sheet with a pen on a string, and a selection of brightly coloured armbands made from various items within the Tommy Bahamas. Block letters in thick sharpie offer an explanation:
TIKTOK CHALLENGE: SURVIVE 1 HOUR IN TOMMY BAHAMAS
MUST WRITE DOWN NAME AND TIME STARTED AND WEAR ARMBAND TO PARTICIPATE
WINNER GETS TO PET A COUGAR
LOSERS AGREE TO BE EATEN
There’s no sign of Siffleur. He’s somewhere inside, waiting.
((additional rules here))
3. Tommy Bahamas Is for Lovers (Tommy Bahamas - closed to Jack)
Somewhere, over one of the various repeating men’s sections, Siffleur is bedded down in a selection of various throws. It’s comfortable and enclosed up at the top of the shelves, and he’s about to settle into a lull when a somewhat familiar scent comes to him.
It’s the man from the aftermath of the Halloween party. He raises his head, feeling a thrum of excitement. Siffleur slinks out of his hiding spot and makes his way along the tops of the shelves and racks, until he comes across the man.
Siffleur sits and waits, watching him and deciding his best point of attack.
4. greedy little kitty (Mikabo sushi bar - Open)
A regular at the sushi restaurant, Siffleur can be found sitting on a stool at the counter with a scattering of plates in front of him and around him on the floor. As always, he sits in his cougar form, content to paw selections off the belt and lap them up before discarding the plate.
Other entering passengers may get looked at, but not for long. After all, there’s always more sushi to eat. And perhaps most infuriatingly, he’s set up at the first position, so he always gets his first pick of the best sushi. If there’s a piece you want, you might have to speak up first.
5. Wildcard
As always, DM me to discuss.

Siffleur. Alright. Easy enough to get his contact details all sorted in her phone, she's got years of handling the weird little cruise phones under her belt by now. "Then it's a deal. Should be alright for a bit, but I might well get bored before I get hungry."
No excursion, this month. The same old ship she spent years on already. Yeah, at some point a fight to the death is just as likely to be a necessary monotony breaker as it is a good source of energy for the Hunt.
As for his question... there's an almost amused little 'huh' at the fact he asked at all, her head tilting again. Fancy that, a guy who actually checks. "Hm. I wouldn't bite your head off or anything." Beat. "Probably. But you would be— you know, I was going to say 'barking up the wrong tree', only I guess that's not the most suitable metaphor. But, anyway. Too much man in the man-to-cat ratio is my point."

"Boredom is enough of a reason to fight and you're always welcome to show your skills. For the less bloodthirsty winners, I offer the chance to pet me as a cougar. For the rest, I assume killing is it's own reward." It is for Siffleur, and so it's the same for others like him - and like Daisy.
And he asks her a question he's been asking others. "What's your world like? Where I come from has very little magic, some technology - rocket ships, satellites, cell phones, things like that."
no subject
"The kill is definitely it's own reward. And it'll be nice to show off a little where it'll actually. Be appreciated."
Not that she's a neat or particularly flashy fighter, but she's never had to be. You don't have time to be. You get the job done. But she's had plenty of practice.
She leans her weight back on her hands. One claw taps idly against the edge of her phone from home. She's pretty used to the variety of worlds that pass through the ship, so...
"21st century Earth, last I remember it was lateish 2018. About average tech wise for the time, far as I know. We don't really have any magic, exactly. Just a lot of supernatural nonsense most people don't know about. Monsters. People like me." Those are, from certain perspectives, the same thing listed twice. "Not just Hunters, but. Others. I knew a guy who could tear your deepest secrets out of you. You wouldn't even realise you didn't really want to tell him until it was too late. That's just one example."
no subject
"Hmm. Sounds dangerous." But he sees a bright side quickly, giving Daisy a smirk. "So you must be especially deadly to have survived it. What's your weapon?" After a moment, he adds- "You don't have to tell me. Just curious."
no subject
"Often? Good old fashioned pistol or a knife. Otherwise, I'm... let's say I'm stronger than I look, and... well."
She could try to keep a secret edge, but really, the closest she can get is not specifying just how strong that is. The claw-like nails that lean far more into 'claw' than 'nail' are more effort to hide than it's worth, and she flashes her teeth as a threat on a regular basis. So, she wiggles her fingers, and pulls the corner of her mouth to show the extremely sharp predators teeth where normal human teeth should be.
"Normal humans don't usually stand a chance against me. Other people like me... well, Hunters are who you go to when you need something killed that doesn't go down easy. And before the boat I'd have been... much tougher, to kill."
Finding out she could suddenly die as easily as anyone else again really pissed her off at first, but eventually you just... accept it, after like, double digits.
no subject
And he can relate to her frustration, straightening up and nodding. "I was never as tough as someone like you, but I didn't need to be. It's all normal people, and normal animals. All I had to be was smarter, stronger, and less predictable. Here, I'm surrounded by people much stronger than me. It's... interesting. Fun, since I can't die forever."
If he could die forever, this place would be an anxiety inducing nightmare for him. But death is an inconvenience at worst - a forced break, or humiliation. Now that he's experienced it, he cares only about the fun.
no subject
"The free do-overs does make it a little less annoying. Easier. I'd say I don't want to run my numbers too high but that ship's sailed. So to speak."
She'd actually be surprised if she didn't end up in triple digits, but at the same time this cruise is so much less deadly than her first was. Even if she gets there it might take a while, with or without the fights to the death for fun.
"I would've loved to see the real heavy hitter's faces when they couldn't kill me, though. Shame to lose that." She sighs almost wistfully, but it's passed in a moment. "You can be in-between, then?"
no subject
"I can, for a while. Half an hour or so, then my body forces me in one direction or another." He scratches at his beard a little. "My mother can be between for two hours, but I do not have the ability to withstand that much pain. So I save my mid transformation for when I need it most. It's helped me a few times catch hunters off-guard. They do not expect something that can move on all fours and still open doors."
no subject
"Think that'd freak even me right out. If I didn't know. And I've seen some freaky things." Admittedly in part because what she's imagining would imply the touch of entities that are simply disgusting to deal with back home. She has, in deed, seen Some Shit but some fears are just more visceral looking than others. "Half hour isn't bad. Plenty enough for those moments where it'll give you an edge."
no subject
It's not a secret, and even if it was, it wouldn't be for long in this place. The ship is like a small town, and Siffleur has enough experience with those to know how quickly information spreads, gossip and otherwise.
He nods towards the washroom. "I'll be a while in there. If you need to use it first, go ahead."
no subject
"Sure. Will do." With that, she plucks her phone from the couch and shakes her head a little as she pulls her legs back up onto it, ready to resume her position from before he came in. "I don't need to. Go ahead."
