The time has come. Erin doesn't have the energy to host a big party like she did with the Muppets. Fucksake, she doesn't even have the energy to get goddamn snacks, which is why after securing SecUnit's help she simply moves tables and chairs into the Promenade where it can set up its media player. Some people get specific invitations; Eddie of course, Vance ("There's cool fights."), Darcy, Crichton (literally just a photo of the DVDs along with the date and time), Crabb, Cass, and Ylva, Valdis ("No pressure."), Johnny and his family ("I certify that at least one of your husbands and your son have seen this and love it, I don't even need to check."), Peter Smith ("Ava's welcome if she wants to attend"), Phil, Ruby, Dimitri and Dedue, and it is at this point that the narrator must remind you that Erin still has unreasonable anxiety that she's disliked here and only barely tolerated.

There will be intermissions between each film to top off on snacks, use the bathroom, etc. Erin's not going to try to enforce 'no talking during the movie' but everyone who comes to watch is under the aegis of her hospitality; no violence, no magic, no mayhem.

Come one, come all to the Cowboy Crafts Corner! Your host, Okie, has placed a quickly made poster or two around the ship, and has set up shop on a bunch of pushed together buffet tables one quiet evening. Among the supplies to be found are a huge pile of Tommy Bahama shirts, collected in armfulls over the course of several days, a set of square plates borrowed from the diner, a handful of markers, one pair of scissors, two steak knives, and every sewing kit he could find in the general store.

The theme of this day's project will be quilting! There will be stations for stenciling, where participants will use the plates and markers to mark squares in the shirts, cutting, where participants will use one sharp implement or another to cut said squares out of the shirts, and sewing, where the individual squares will be made into other, much bigger squares. Okie will be keeping tabs on the stock of shirts available for disassembly and offering assistance or teaching around the sewing stations.

The main rule is to have fun! Secondary rules include not using the cutting implements on any other participants and telling Number 6 if he asks that Okie really promises to clean up after and return the plates and knives.

[you've heard the announcement, the sound of Friday's cautious optimism as she spoke it. you've waited all day. now, it's time for the game.

the amount of effort that has gone into this production at Bellona can be safely defined as “minimal.” there are three podiums, with three slate boards and three pieces of chalk. there is another podium, currently empty, next to a plain folding table. there is a tablecloth draped over the table, covering a lumpy, inscrutable shape.

the most remarkable thing is the giant wheel set up on the other side of the empty podium. the slices of the giant circle are colorful, but also completely blank. the Captain actually spends 30 minutes prior to the start of the event simply sitting in front of it, back to the audience, and spinning it, listening to the loud clacking noise pick up and then die down again, before spinning it once more.
