1. Texting

I have a plan. I want to see just how infinite this Tommy Bahama is. Multi-day expedition for data collection? It could be informative. Maybe fun, too. Interested in coming along?

2. Preparing

Even people who don't know Ari well may notice that something is up. It's not often that people walk into Tommy Bahama wearing backpacks full of supplies. There's some last-minute preparation going on here, as well as a last-minute opportunity to join the expedition. Expect Ari to want to check and make sure everyone has all the essentials with them. She's used to preparing for trips to uninhabited and potentially hostile planets, and it shows. Don't mind the fussing. She wouldn't do it if she didn't care.

3. Exploring

Despite all the promises, the expedition is - well, boring might be an accurate description, unless you're really invested in the outcome. There's a lot of walking past the same racks of clothes, over and over and over. Infinite length doesn't mean infinite variety.

Ari's fascinated, and she'll be chattering about loop programming to anyone who will listen, and attempting to measure the distance between one rack of garishly-patterned bikinis and the next iteration of that very same rack. She'll encourage tests, too - what happens if you completely destroy one of the displays? Is the destruction repeated? (Spoiler alert: no, it's not that kind of loop, but let's try it a few times anyway and make sure?)

Maybe you give up and head back after a few hours. Maybe you have a run-in with the Bahamanal. Maybe you join in with Ari's ridiculous spacer song singalong - she is in a good mood. It's Tommy Bahama, anything could happen.

4. Relaxing

Ari pushes the pace on the first day, because it comes naturally to do so, and possibly, subconsciously, to weed out anyone who isn't serious about this and is going to cause them problems once they're a long way in. Eventually, though, it's time to stop for the night. There's not a campfire, but it's a fine social occasion just the same. Ari's brought some Serena Eterna branded playing cards, and she's up for a little gambling. Maybe you have some other entertainment ideas. Don't stay up too long, though - see if you can't make a nice nest of clothes to bed down in. There's plenty of walking to do tomorrow.

5. Emerging

Plenty of data has been collected about the repeating displays, but there's no end in sight to this store. Is it really infinite? If there's a way to answer that question, this expedition won't do it. It's over two days in when the group realises that they're over halfway through the supplies they brought. Time to turn around, whether that leaves you disappointed or delighted.

Unfortunately, there are no tricks of perception or proportion here. It'll take just as long to walk out as it did to walk in. Look on the bright side, at least you're carrying less weight? Finally, on the fifth day, the intrepid explorers who stayed the distance catch sight of the store entrance up ahead. Who saw it first?

Oh god. That's so hot, his stomach muscles twitch slightly and he kisses back, wanting to see if he can shift that hand down a little further if he lifts up on his toes just slightly. "You think too highly of me," they say quietly. "As usual."

That's...they squint slightly. "When you say a blessing from the heavens..." He's trying to figure out the exact meaning because his brain can make it so many things right now. "Mmm. Tonight would be good," they say quietly. "Maybe just a little while and then come back." He pauses. "Do we have to do anything outside of sleeping?" And walking. Ugh. So much walking. Klaus already hates it.

A chuckle, and he definitely moves his hand lower.

"I'm going to blow your mind with a blowjob. Make sure we are both fast so we do not keep them waiting." As for what else they might have to do, things will come up, Nobunaga is sure.

Klaus is so ready for this. "Mmm...Then we probably need to be faster."

Nobunaga glances at the watch so far up it's nearly on his elbow. "We're fine. But let's run, just in case. Want me to carry you, or would you prefer to levitate again?" he starts putting the gauntlets back down and wipes the side of his mouth on one.

Klaus is just gonna be here for a moment, trying to catch his breath. They try to focus their way into levitating, but there's basically zero energy. "I don't know how you can even...even think about running right now." But right. They've got to get themselves together, don't they?

He carefully fixes his clothes, trying to look more presentable. God, he's so tired. "You think I'm the strong one and you're the one ready to carry someone at a time like this." They are just gonna pull him in for a kiss.

Nobunaga whines into the kiss, going weak at the knees. Breathe. Must remember to breathe. "You're making it REALLY hard to run if you do things like that..." stupid blush. But seriously Klaus, it's hard to run with a hard on, and he didn't even get to do anything about it!

"Think about how you'd go about building your own ship." Will that help? Klaus doesn't know. If not...well...He'll figure something out really fast, but...yeah. They probably need to get back soon. Unfortunately for Nobunaga.

"I already made blueprints for that, and gave a copy to Teyrey." Ugh unsexy things. He picks up Klaus to give him a piggy-back. "I guess just talk to me about sad things I hate."

His emotions control his brain, and his brain controls his sex drive, after all.

“Okaaaay. You don’t even know about the depressing dog commercials and that’s disappointing for you and me in this moment. There’d be this sad song playing over images of animals that looked sad and dejected.” He pauses briefly. “In the aaaarrrmmssss of the aaaangeeeeelssss.” Just like that.

He is... so baffled by this. But confused is a different emotion than horny, and curiosity was the best way he could initially think of to distract him from wanting to fuck Klaus when he was around Valdis; so... sure?

"Not that you shouldn't keep singing, but what do you want on your Tombstone?"

This is something Crichton is obviously to blame for.

Klaus stares at the question. That is so off the current mental track he’s on that it gives him pause. “I have no fucking idea, buddy.”

"Oh...." He blushes so fucking hard. That was probably taken literally. "That was a commercial, Crichton's favorite. I was going to give him a Spirit Halloween one, and when I asked what he wanted he said pepperoni. Because they call the pizza brand Tombstone..."

Nobunaga just covers his face with a hand... still holding onto Klaus with the other. Don't look at him!

"Oh." Right. Right. Tombstone pizza. Klaus forgot that existed. Klaus is just gonna hold on a little harder and try to focus on the levitating again to he's not nearly as heavy.

"Sorry. I thought you meant like...when I was dead for real...but yeah. Uh. As long as it's not pineapple. I hate pineapple on pizza. Stupid pineapple." Just gonna mutter to himself about how pineapple is a garnish for drinks at best.

"I like pineapple drinks. I wouldn't think citrus on pizza would work at all. Too sour, not enough umami, but I'm not Masamune to be that expert at conceptualizing foods," he explain, before going a bit faster, now that Klaus is levitating.

"Luther loves it. Not like...oranges or shit like that, though. No one does that. Unless they do and they're monsters." Okay, so Klaus has feelings apparently.

He genuinely giggles at that. "I feel the need to be the most monstrous of all then, and try candy on pizza."

Klaus makes a face. "We're definitely breaking up. Effective immediately."

Nobunaga laughs and pretends to let go of Klaus' legs.

"Is there garlic bread that goes with pizza?"

Cue Klaus wrapping his arms and legs around even tighter to avoid falling. “I’m gonna lick your spot if you drop me.” As if they are not fucking levitating slightly.

“There better be. I deserve garlic bread. It better not have candy on it.”

Nobunaga just whines, hands going back to holding Klaus. "Can't you try that somewhere safe first? I don't even know what would happen!"

"Okay garlic bread pizza. No candy. I'll have candy everything."

"Well don't fake drop me and I won't have to be mean." They are just gonna rest their chin on his shoulder now instead. "Plus if I lick you somewhere else, you might get hot all over again and we'd have to stop to take care of it. I mean, sure, I could probably levitate myself upside down to help, but there's almost zero chance of you being able to keep walking that way." That did not help.

"You're such a weirdo sometimes. But it's okay. I love you."

"It would probably be really hot, and someday we can try the sex and walking at the same time."

"That's definitely going to be a feat. Unless it's like...handjobs and blowjobs. Then like...sure. We could maybe do that. It's not like when you're driving a car and someone does the same things, though. And you have to try not to crash the car and kill everyone." Yeah, maybe Klaus has been on both sides of that.

"Anyway, I'm willing to work on getting so much control over my levitating that I don't fall and hurt myself. That could make..." They pause, squinting slightly. "Anyway, there's fun things we could try that could be more fun with levitation. It's too bad the Captain doesn't have any copies of this book on all the different sex positions because I am willing to bet we could do like all of them if we tried. But that's like...for private times."

"Yeah, I've never had sex on a horse." He's thinking about this now. And it's getting hard to run again.

Nobunaga snorts, getting easier again. "I hate those books. Healthy living my ass. The monks are just so hard up they imagine weird things that don't even make sense. And there's plenty of romance novels. They all have gross lascivious covers. Bonnet was reading one when I first got here. About vikings." SIGH. It's to be expected. He's in love with an ex-cult leader after all... "I guess I can't hate it too much if it's you, but even the weird wood engravings with tentacle sex are better." He is an five year old emotionally. Which makes his horny old man status weird.

"Me either." Seems like it might be difficult, but...oh well. No animals and he's not gonna ASK SOMEONE if they can help them figure that out. Weird.

Klaus pauses. "What?" He doesn't remember anything about healthy living. "Uhhhh...." Oh. The erotic books. "Yeah, those can be a little weird sometimes, I guess. But do you like...hate trying different sex positions or?" Cause that is the point of his desire here. "I really can't get into tentacle porn. Hentai just is not for me. I'd be thinking about Ben the whole time and it would just...it's weird."
