[Natsuno is standing in a shadow, wearing dark layers to protect himself from the sun. He's tired, exhausted by the mere knowledge of daylight, but sleep won't happen until the broadcast ends.]

They fix themselves.

[ He stops to think (it takes a few moments; stopping to think is a rare thing for Vance). ]

What if we like...toss a blanket over it to block it out?

[He hasn't tried it after the battle royale. All he wanted was to go to sleep.]

I'll get my blanket first. It's too fucking hot in my room, anyway.

[ He sleeps on top of his blanket most of the time. And if it gets cold, he can always just go to Chrissy's room. ]

[After the battle royale, Jade stared at the broken screen in their cabin so Natsuno could sleep. He's not going to keep vigil the entire day, but a few minutes until Vance comes back are fine.]

[ Both of them together should be able to bash it in pretty easy, he thinks. ]

[He nods and grabs the chair. Even though Natsuno just said it's pointless, he can't help but feel at least a little bit of satisfaction when the screen breaks.

He's definitely going to hit the screen one more time after it's smashed, just in case. His body sure holds a lot of rage, for a scrawny teen with a permanent lineface.]
