1. Needle and Thread
The Cowboy Crafts Corner continues its semiweekly meetings among the buffet tables, and half a year into it, Okie is a lot more confident a teacher. He's less nervous about putting himself out in public, and more sure of his skills. He keeps the group quilt making stations, from shirt disassembly to sewing squares to connecting squares. While he usually works on his personal projects, he wants to keep his current project secret for now, so instead he practices tailoring by trying to add wing holes to shirts and jackets (a strangely in demand skill), as well as putting the finishing touches on the bi flag he had started at pride.
2. Man's Best Friend
In the early weeks of July, the number of animals on the ship seems to go up by two. A dog smelling of red dirt and rain and a cat smelling of hay and wildflowers, wandering the halls, sleeping in cozy corners and high up places, stopping for pets.
Alongside their appearance, a text makes its way to Helena's phone. Keep an eye out for an old friend.
