[you've heard the announcement, the sound of Friday's cautious optimism as she spoke it. you've waited all day. now, it's time for the game.
the amount of effort that has gone into this production at Bellona can be safely defined as “minimal.” there are three podiums, with three slate boards and three pieces of chalk. there is another podium, currently empty, next to a plain folding table. there is a tablecloth draped over the table, covering a lumpy, inscrutable shape.
the most remarkable thing is the giant wheel set up on the other side of the empty podium. the slices of the giant circle are colorful, but also completely blank. the Captain actually spends 30 minutes prior to the start of the event simply sitting in front of it, back to the audience, and spinning it, listening to the loud clacking noise pick up and then die down again, before spinning it once more.

Oh yeah! We ran into each other there and just sort of hit it off. His fiancé said we would though - his name's Johnny.

[Min just fucking blurts out. Nailed it. Olympic 10/10 right there ladies and gents. He smiles wide, but there is panic before he shakes his head and clears his throat. Just…what the hell was that.]

Thank you! And Johnny was right, we did. [He withdraws his hand after a moment, leaning back and sitting more normally. He'll help poor Min-Gi recover a bit... or at least he thinks that's what he's doing.] Can you imagine what it would be like if we didn't have laundry machines here? We'd have to wash everything by hand. There's something to be said about modern conveniences.

At that point I'd just be throwing dirty clothes overboard and getting new ones. Just sort of accept my fate of looking like a Jimmy Buffet knockoff forever, you know?
[Since after a point he would only have stuff from Tommy Bahama to work with. But mercifully, Ryan pivots them away from laundry day talk.]
Actually, it would have been cool if any of the stuff up for grabs was better clothes. Or even just like, stuff we'd want at all? ...Not counting the piano. That was pretty sick.
